Lightning Protections Systems

A lightning protection system is used to protect the resources from the strike of lightning. As it is unpredictable where lightning will fall, it makes imperative for the safety of the resources to use the lightening protection systems. These systems also mitigate the risk of a fire which can generally be caused if a lightning falls at a certain place. These systems comprise of air terminals, bonding conductors, ground terminals and other connectors which protect the valuable resources from the impact of lightning.
