Guyed Masts Towers
Receiving support from the guy lines, a guyed mast stands high in the sky. The guyed masts and monopoles are used as transmission towers for broadcasting and telecommunication purposes. They are also generally used to support different types of wire aerials for which the entire structure of the tower often is insulated against the ground. Another way of using the guyed masts and monopoles can also be the tops of freely standing towers. One of the famous towers of a similar type is the Gerbrandy Toren in Europe. The guyed masts and monopoles are sometimes also used for meteorological measurements.
